YouTube Killing IE6
We’ve been pushing for the death of Internet Explorer 6 here for some time. So it’s with great joy that I see Google pushing the death with this banner on YouTube.
Judging by this screenshot taken by an IE6 user who was watching some videos on YouTube, it appears the Google company will be phasing out support for the browser shortly. I don’t have Internet Explorer 6 installed on my computer, so I can’t verify this first hand, but illogical it seems not and a simple Twitter search shows multiple people confirming the news. Heck, some are even downright ecstatic over the news.

Excuse me, where is Opera on that list? It’s the fastest, most reliable and least annoying browser and they somehow forget about it? What gives?

I didn’t know that someone is still using IE6. I change my traing years ago and now I use only Firefox. Sorry, but even IE8 cannot rival with FF.
