What the Hell is a SKU?
Finally! I’m too damned lazy to look it up but Cringely finally tells me that a SKU
is
a “stock
keeping unit”a SKU is a “stock keeping unit”. Now I can sleep at night.

Well, the word is out. Microsoft has finally confirmed the number of Windows 7 SKUs (stock keeping units) that it will foist upon the marketplace next fall.
Oh yeah and Microsoft Windows 7 will have 56 SKUs again… *sigh*
