Website Development Sucks without these Firefox Plugins
What Firefox plugins do you use for your website development work? I found this on the Adsense Blog and to my surprise, I’m using 3 of them already.
I use the ColorZilla plug in and at this point, I couldn’t live without it.

If you don’t have this tool for picking colors, grabbing colors off websites and just saving yourself a major headache with colors, you’re missing out. I used to use Huey (free) for my eyedropper color picking and I still do but ColorZilla does everything I need that Huey did and more. Much more convenient. More ColorZilla screen shots here.
I have been desperately searching for a tool that would allow me to measure onscreen pixels and dimensions of divs and other objects. I’ve struggled with Jruler but recently found the awesome Firefox plugin, MeasureIT.
MeasureIT
is lightyears ahead of anything else that I’ve used and it’s like using ColorZilla. Just sits down there in your status bar just waiting to be clicked that time you really need to know if it’s 735px or 768px. You know…when you’re trying to squish that last Adsense banner on your site.

IETab is also indispensable when you are trying to work with multiple browsers at once. IE sucks balls but we are stuck with this shit. So, you just click on the tab and you can see how fucked up your pages look under IE. More screenshots here.
I haven’t used the WebDeveloper toolbar so I can’t say that it’s good or not but I’ll add Firebug to the list.
Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of web development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page.

ColorZilla
This extension tells you which RGB or hex color you’re looking at, to help you make sure you created that logo for your business with just the right shade of blue, for instance. The tool also creates custom color palettes while you’re browsing, so you can use them in your designs.MeasureIt
Like the name says, use this add-on to measure the width and height in pixels of any element you see on a webpage. It’s very simple to use, and you can define how much space you have left for that AdSense ad unit on the right-side. :)IE View
Do you frequently use Internet Explorer to check how your website renders on that browser? This add-on allows you to view the way any page would look if it were opened in IE, without the hassle of opening another browser. You can also see pages that aren’t Firefox-friendly much more easily.WebDeveloper toolbar
This all-in-one toolbar gives you quick control over things like JavaScript display, form and CSS elements, screen resizing (so you know what your website looks like in smaller resolutions), HTML validation, and much more.

ColorZilla is sweet and totally a must have. MeasureIT is relatively new for me, but it's just like ColorZilla and I've needed something so bad to smoosh those last banner ads on my sites.
