Core77 Presents: Greener Gadgets Design Competition
Core77 is proud to once again parter with Greener Gadgets to produce a design competition aimed at generating outstanding design innovations for greener electronics. The top 50 entries are published online for voting and commenting, and from these the judges will pick the Top 10 to be judged live at the Greener Gadgets Conference in New York City on February 27th. Awards will be given out at the end of the conference program, and winners will be showcased on Core77.com, GreenerGadgets.com, CE.org, and Inhabitat.com.
Here is my favorite so far:
Based on a infrared photocell, it automatically turns off the lights and appliances left on throughout the night with the sunrise! Sweet. Blows the doors off the stupid coffee grinds printer.
